The challenge
Spencer Stuart, a global executive search and leadership advisory firm, had strong ideas buried in text-heavy, chart-dense decks. Its practice leaders needed materials that could sell new services, put proprietary research to work, and launch new practices.
Each message had to reach several audiences, from internal teams to prospective clients, often on tight deadlines and with content still in progress.
Our approach
We started with the story, then designed the slides. For a new CEO Acceleration offer, one narrative became four tailored versions, from an internal overview to a full client pitch, with the service shown like product tiers so prospects could see the long-term value.
For Chief Sustainability Officer searches, we turned the firm’s 2022 survey of sustainability leaders into a reusable pitch module: who we are, what the data says, what we’ve seen. Simpler charts kept the research credible and easy to present.
For internal moments, including a global CEO and Board practice launch and a DE&I update, we built visual frameworks that absorbed content as it arrived and, for the launch, could be reused all year.
The outcome
Spencer Stuart came back for five deck programs across two years and several practices, including a client-ready go-to-market story for a new offer, a research-backed pitch module consultants could reuse in CSO searches, and a refreshed CEO Succession deck.
Speed mattered: the CEO and Board practice deck went from client draft to final in four days, in time for a global launch, and the DE&I presentation shipped 15 days after the brief despite content arriving in stages.
