The Internet of Things has become a $1.3 trillion market opportunity and Microsoft has taken a position to lead the industry by cultivating an IoT partner ecosystem - empowering partners to collaborate, build and deliver new end-to-end innovations together.
Microsoft’s global event series titled, IoT in Action, is a way for attendees and IoT partners to come together and learn about the most prominent IoT technologies and explore opportunities within the ever-growing IoT ecosystem. At various cities around the world, the events feature top speakers and presentations in IoT business and technical paths.
Our mission was clear, to provide the technology to enable Microsoft to handle all aspects of management for the event series.
e(a+s) carried out an analysis based on the client’s requirements, and found gaps (and thus opportunities) in the following areas of operation —
e(a+s) built a dynamic event platform powering the registration, communications, and on-site technology enabling attendees to register online and check in to the events. e(a+s) also designed the visual language for the event including the lockup, event signage, badges, and keynote presentations.
To support the partner ecosystem and to empower partners to collaborate, build and co-sell new end-to-end innovations together, e(a+s) created a proprietary matchmaking platform for all attendees/partners to connect and collaborate at IoT in Action events around the world. The platform allows event attendees to browse and identify attendees with potential business alignment and propose and schedule meetings prior to arriving to the event with the click of a button. To further advance these connections, e(a+s) has developed the Matchmaking mobile app which offers ease of registration and full matchmaking capabilities from the convenience of a phone.
